Today, those with Disney resort hotel reservations could buy tickets for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party or Jollywood Nights at the Walt Disney World Resort. Of course, these tickets cost more annually, and they outpace inflation.
These events will be held on select nights and require a special ticket to enter.
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is held at the Magic Kingdom Park.
This year, the ticket prices will range from $169 – $219 (without tax) PER PERSON. In 2023, that range was $149-$199 per person. This is an increase of $20 in the lowest and the highest ticket prices. Frankly, the event is not worth it.
A family of four will pay between $676 (well over $700 with tax) at the low end and $879 (well over $900) on the high end for a few hours in the park.
The event runs from 7 PM till Midnight. However, guests can enter the park at 4 PM.
The event will be held on the following dates:
November: 8, 11, 12, 14, 15, 17, 19, 21, 22, 24, 26, 27, 29
December: 1, 3, 5, 6, 8, 10, 12, 13, 15, 17, 19, 20
Annual Passholders and DVC members can get $10 off per ticket.
Jollywood Nights is held at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
This is the second year for the Jollywood Nights event. The ticket prices are again high for what it is.
Tickets cost between $159 and $179 (without tax) per person. In 2023, the cost was $150-$169 per person. The highest-priced tickets increase by $10.
Jollywood Nights will be offered on the following dates:
November: 9, 13, 16, 18, 23, 25, 30
December: 2, 7, 11, 14, 18, 21
Tickets are now on sale for Walt Disney World Resort hotel guests, Swan and Dolphin Resort guests, and Shades of Green guests. All other guests can purchase tickets starting on July 10, 2024.
I think the prices are too high for what you get, but when you figure out the cost of regular park tickets and the Lighting Lane (Genie+) upcharge, there may not be much difference for some dates. Other than you get more time in the park with a regular ticket, but you have longer lines during the day. These events offer special events, too.
