It’s the second day of Walt Disney World’s retheme of Splash Mountain, Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. The attraction did not open when it was supposed to, and as of an hour ago, it was not open.
At 1 PM, the second round of virtual queues will open up, but the first round still hasn’t had time to get through yet.
Before the attraction opened to the public, the ride experienced multiple closures and evacuations. The issues seem to persist.
It’s odd because they had months to fix the ride system, which was known for having issues when it was Splash Mountain. Maybe the budget went to animatronics that keeps breaking down and the massive amount of fake foliage?
