Yesterday, Disney announced that Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party will return on select nights from November 8 to December 20, 2024. Guests can expect special entertainment, parades, characters, treats, and attractions during the event.
In the list of attractions, Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is listed as being available for guests along with many other attractions. It is unclear if you will need to use a Virtual Queue to ride as they did with Tron Lightcycle Run last year.
Here are the open attractions during Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party:

The special event crowds are “limited.” By “limited,” we mean it depends on what Disney wants to do. I’ve seen crowd levels that were more than I would consider “limited” in the past. If they limit, then the lines for the attractions are shorter.
It might be a good opportunity to ride Tiana’s Bayou Adventure with lower wait times.
If you do not want to go to the party (they are expensive), go to the Magic Kingdom on days with party evenings. The park will close early, and people tend to avoid the Magic Kingdom on event days because of limited hours. Usually, this makes the lines shorter during the day.
If you have a park hopper, you can jump to another park in the evening.
The party event will happen on these dates:
- Nov. 8, 11, 12, 14, 15, 17, 19, 21, 22, 24, 26, 27, 29
- Dec. 1, 3, 5, 6, 8, 10, 12, 13, 15, 17, 19, 20
Tickets will go on sale July 2 for select Disney Resort Hotel guests and on July 10 for other guests.
