Three New Films Will Premier in Epcot and the World Showcase on January 17, 2020

There will be three new films premiering at Epcot in Future World and the World Showcase on the first day of the Epcot International Festival of the Arts (one of my favorites) on January 17, 2020.

Beauty and the Beast Sing-a-long will open in the France pavilion.

Directed and produced by Don Hahn, this film features narration by Angela Lansbury, Mrs. Pott’s in the animated film. This new sing-along show will run in rotation with the Impressions de France. But, the older show will get a 4k projection upgrade.

Awesome Planet in The Land pavilion

This new 10-minute film will show “Earth’s beauty and diversity–featuring spectacular imagery, in-theater effects and an original musical score from Academy Award-winning® composer Steven Price. ”

Canada Far and Wide in Circle-Vision 360 in the Canada pavilion

This is an update to the previous O Canada! film. It has new scenes, a new musical score by Canadian composer Andrew Lockington and new narration by Catherine O’Hara and Eugene Levy.
