Thomas Mazloum Is Most Likely To Be Named Josh D’Amaro’s Parks and Experiences Replacement

As most of you already know, Josh D’Amaro will be moving up to be the new Disney CEO in about a week. This leaves his position as Chairman of Disney Experiences open. While there has been a lot of talk around who will replace him, most think it will be Disneyland President Thomas Mazloum.

Mazloum has been President of Disneyland since early 2025.

Before he took over in Disneyland, Mazloum worked in various roles at the Walt Disney Company, starting in 1998 as the hotel director for Disney Cruise Lines. Throughout his almost 30 years at the company, he has worked at many hotels, ESPN Wide World of Sports, and as Senior VP of Operations at Walt Disney World. His final role before being named Disneyland president was as chief of Disney Signature Experiences. He does have the vast history with parks and experiences needed to fill D’Amaro’s shoes.

I remember seeing Mazloum on various Zoom calls about Orlando and the pandemic in 2020. He was almost always involved in those meetings, trying to get Orlando reopened.
