“The Wonderful World of Disney: Holiday Spectacular” is set to air on December 1, at 8 PM EST / PST on ABC. It will stream the next day on Disney+, Hulu, and Disney YouTube.
Narrated by Ginnifer Goodwin (Judy Hopps in “Zootopia,”” Zootopia 2,” and “Zootopia: Better Zoogether!”, and hosted by Derek Hough, the show promises a special look of Avatar: Fire and Ash, a special celebration for Zootopia 2 introduced by Ke Huy Quan(Gary De’Snake), and a look at Zootopia: Better Zoogether!, in Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
Disney has announced the celebrity lineup for the event.
- Gwen Stefani will appear at Sleeping Beauty Castle in Disneyland with her new song “Shake the Snowglobe.“
- Aloe Blacc will perform in Toy Story Land at Disney’s Hollywood Studios with “This Christmas.”
- Good Charlotte will perform in front of the Millennium Falcon at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in Disney’s Hollywood Studios with “Fairytale of New York.”
- Coco Jones will sing “Silent Night” beneath the Tree of Life at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
- Mariah the Scientist will also be in the Animal Kingdom singing “Santa Baby” in Pandora – The World of Avatar.
- Nicole Scherzinger will perform “O Holy Night” by “it’s a small world” at Disneyland.
- Trisha Yearwood will perform “My Favorite Things” at World Celebration Gardens in EPCOT.
- Bebe Rexha will take the Cinderella Castle stage at Magic Kingdom Park to perform “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree.”
- Iam Tongi (American Idol winner) will perform “Hawaiian Roller Coaster Ride” at Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa.
