The Super Bowl “Game Spot” For Star Wars The Mandalorian and Grogu Was Lame

During the Super Bowl, Disney released a new “game spot” for the upcoming “Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu.”  The trailer was released in a short version and a full version, with the longer one being stuff we’ve already seen.

The short version sounds like Sam Elliot narrating a Tauntaun stagecoach adventure.

Frankly, it feels like Disney people asked themselves, “What is the most popular ‘Star Wars’ movie? Let’s put stuff in this film from that one” and we get Tauntauns, an ice planet, and AT-AT walkers.

A lot of people are comparing it to a Budweiser or Ford commercial. I’m sure it’s part of the gag, but it just comes across as lame.

There may be a real trailer sometime during the game, though, because this feels like a joke or fake-out.
