The Muppet Show Special Featuring Sabrina Carpenter Coming to Disney+

Disney+ is preparing a new Muppet Show special that will star pop singer and actress Sabrina Carpenter, according to reports. The special will bring the classic Muppet characters back into the spotlight with new material tailored for both longtime fans and new audiences.

The stand-alone special will air in 2026, coinciding with the 50th anniversary of the original “Muppet Show” which ran from 1976-1981.
