It feels like Christmas now that I know that one of the greatest Muppet movies ever made is getting a vinyl soundtrack! Coming on Black Friday (11/26), iam8bit is offering two variants of The Muppet Christmas Carol soundtrack.
Yes, this is an official release from Disney Records. The pressings will be available in two different colors: red and blue. Regardless of which one is chosen, the record features one of the Marleys on each side. Additionally, the album’s price is only $29.99, which is pretty reasonable compared to other pieces of vinyl I’ve seen on the market lately.

We’re so very excited to bring you an exclusively remastered revival of the classic soundtrack, breathing new life into the legendary songs and score by Paul Williams and Miles Goodman, respectively. The whole Muppets cast is along for the fun, both in music and a marvelously illustrated jacket by artist Kevin Wilson. Featuring classics like “Scrooge,” “When Love is Gone,” “It Feels Like Christmas,” and so many others, it’s time to start your holiday turntable tradition now!
All the tracks that you’d find on the CD or digital releases of The Muppets Christmas Carol OST are present. Here’s the tracklist:
[Side A]
- Overture (Instrumental)
- Scrooge
- Room In Your Heart
- Good King Wenceslas (Traditional)
- One More Sleep ’til Christmas
- Marley And Marley
- Christmas Past (Instrumental)
- Chairman Of The Board
- Fozziwig’s Party
[Side B]
- When Love Is Gone
- It Feels Like Christmas
- Christmas Scat
- Bless Us All
- Christmas Morning (Instrumental)
- Thankful Heart
- Finale – When Love Is Found / It Feels Like Christmas
- When Love Is Gone
The walls of my office are full of vinyl albums. I love collecting weird, rare, and unique albums. This is something I’d love to add to the collection. I was, however, expecting a little more from the actual pressed vinyl. Red and blue are cool-looking variants, but I thought there’d be something more. What do you think? Let us know in the comments section.
