D23 Expo 2022 will feature a rare sighting of Walt Disney’s company plane. Mickey Mouse One, as the plane was known, was on display for years in Disney Hollywood Studios as part of the studio backlot tour. Currently, it is under restoration by the Walt Disney Archives. Once restoration efforts are complete, the Grumman Gulfstream I will be transported from its current location backstage at Walt Disney World to the Expo location in Anaheim, CA.

D23 Expo Platinum sponsor Amazon is sponsoring the restoration and transportation effort, as well as the D23 exhibit, which will be called “Mickey Mouse One: Walt’s Plane.”
