The new trailer for “The Mandalorian and Grogu” dropped today.
It is full of Dave Filoni characters and a lot of “they did the thing” moments, like Grogu in a pram and eating a blue cookie. They also threw in a bunch of “Yoda” moments with a staff and mediation.
We do see more of the Hutts in this one, and of course, Mando’s helmet is off, so you see it’s Pedro Pascal. Not sure why they didn’t just release part of this for the Super Bowl.
However, it does look like it was meant to be Season 4 of the show.
Take a look!
A lot of people were excited to see Embo.

Many are still split on this one.
But many are pointing out that this should have been the first trailer or the Super Bowl one.
“This is the wayyyy” -mandariane
“I guess Mando will have to take another bath since his helmet was removed…..again“- Pescatore
“This is the first Star Wars movie in theaters since 2019’s The Rise of Skywalker. After a “divisive” Super Bowl spot last week, this new trailer is trying to prove that Star Wars belongs back in the cinema, even if it’s just a “leveled up” version of the show that saved Disney+ in the first place.
Highly anticipated showpiece, and may the force be with you. ☺️” -SacarsmKing
“Finally, a real trailer!” – dryo9683
“I wonder how much Pedro face time was in his contract lol” – beyond.the.cinema
“If you’re rolling out pascal you’re desperate which is good. You recognise the last films were toilet” – Habibullah Khan
“This looks so much better than the first trailer did. I’m excited now” -mimemjef_5865
“This looks boring AF clearly a children’s movie with their mascot that will never grow old 🥱” – GeorgeRamirez
“The Superbowl ad should’ve lead with this one“- alisterfolson
“Definitely feels more like a movie now, with this trailer. but idk. Would’ve been cool to see a lightsaber.”– Nicholas Light
I worry that it’s a lot of “member berry” moments like the pram, or the blue cookie, the AT-AT walkers, the Clone Wars characters, etc. Hopefully it isn’t.
“The Mandalorian and Grogu” will release in theaters on May 22, 2026.
