This is so weird. Yesterday I did a Throwback Thursday article about The Main Street Electrical Parade and today Disney just announced that it will be returning to Disneyland later this summer. 😉 (I HOPE it comes to Walt Disney World too)
The fan-favorite “spectacular festival pageant of nighttime magic and imagination” will be returning to the Disneyland Park nightly, for a limited-time, from Aug. 2 through September 30.
Why would they bring this back now?
I’ve been hearing that although Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is busy it isn’t the slam dunk that Disney thought it would be. That’s why they are pushing deals for the fall at Walt Disney World and things like this for the summer at Disneyland.
It could also be that they want to use this as a form for crowd control sending guests to the parade route and thinning out Galaxy’s Edge at night.
Either way, I really hope they bring this back to Walt Disney World after it’s limited-run in Disneyland.
