The PizzeRizzo sign has been taken down at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. A final farewell to the Muppet Courtyard that stood since 2016. Honestly, in the grand scheme of things, the courtyard wasn’t around that long. It was formerly the Streets of America and PizzeRizzo was Pizza Planet.
Many think it deserves a moment of silence.
Overnight, the PizzeRizzo sign came down to make way for the new Monsters Inc. land, and the internet is mourning the loss.
rip to the legend of the pizzerizzo sign you almost made it to 2026 babe 🥲

It’s so sad to see it dark like that. Then, right above art for the new area. Feels kind of morbid in a way.

“Alexis pour one out for pizza rizzo – the best restaurant, with the worst hours.” – James F.
It is sad to see it go, but people were also upset when Pizza Planet went out too.
I wonder what they will do with the sign? Hoping it ends up somewhere else or in the Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster overlay as part of the city. That would be cool, but it might be too big?
People have been watching auction sites to try and get an item from the now closed location.
