Last month, we told you about the upcoming monthly series offering a Droid Factory Figure. The figures will come with extra pieces to “build a droid”. The first figure, R5-K6, is now available for purchase.
This figure was released yesterday as part of Droid Factory Fridays. A new release will happen on the first Friday of each month.
Initially, the first six figures will come with parts to create a TC-332. I’m assuming, if the line does go all year, the second half of the year will feature parts to build a different droid as well.

Let’s take a look!
R5-K6 Droid Factory Figure – Build-A-Droid Series – $16

This droid was from the original “Star Wars: A New Hope” and measures about 2 1/2” x 1 3/4” x 1 2/3”.
“R5-K6 was an R5 droid that served in the Alliance to Restore the Republic’s Red Squadron during the Galactic Civil War against the Galactic Empire. Here, the distinctive red droid is replicated in detail as a Star Wars Droid Factory figure. Part of a new Droid Factory Build-A-Droid program, R5-K6 comes with an extra piece. When you collect all six figures in the 1st Launch, you will be able to build your own TC-332 droid.
