I never really paid attention to the First Order stormtrooper helmet design until now. Why does it look like a duck? Did Disney want them all to look like they were playing for the Mighty Ducks? I wouldn’t be surprised if Disney did this as a form of cross-promotion.
Gentle Giant has revealed two new Star Wars items this week. The first is a new San Diego ComicCon exclusive bust of a First Order Office from The Force Awakens. The replica of the redesigned stormtrooper measures 10″ tall, and only 1,000 will be made. Like GG’s other busts, this guy won’t break the bank. The officer will cost you $200.

Officer on deck! The First Order Officer joins the Legends in 3D lineup, sporting a red pauldron as seen in Star Wars: The Force Awakens! Standing approximately 10 inches tall, this exclusive bust sits atop a high-tech base, and is limited to only 1000 pieces. It comes packaged in a full-color window box with a hand-numbered certificate of authenticity.
If you’re an old-school Star Wars fan, like me, then you’d rather have a classic stormtrooper instead of Disney’s Mighty Ducks Trooper. But, of course, as a fan of the Original Trilogy, that means you’d also want your stormtrooper to double as another character. Gentle Giant delivered on both fronts with a new 40th Anniversary Exclusive Milestones Statue featuring Han Solo disguised as a stormtrooper!
The heads on the statue are swappable. Han in trooper gear is 12″ tall and is priced at $250.

I’ve got a good feeling about this! Han Solo dons his stormtrooper disguise for this new Milestones 1/6 Scale Statue! Depicting Han with Imperial blaster raised, and featuring interchangeable helmeted and unhelmeted heads, Han stands approximately 12 inches tall atop a black disc base, and is limited to only 1000 pieces! It comes packaged with a numbered certificate of authenticity in a full-color box.
