ABC News has officially parted ways with senior national correspondent Terry Moran, two days after suspending him for controversial remarks made about former White House adviser Stephen Miller.

Moran, who served as a senior national correspondent and anchor for ABC News Live, faced suspension after posting comments on the social media platform X, labeling Miller a “world-class hater.” Moran subsequently deleted the post.
According to the THR an ABC spokesperson said,
“We are at the end of our agreement with Terry Moran, and based on his recent post—which was a clear violation of ABC News policies—we have made the decision not to renew. At ABC News, we hold all of our reporters to the highest standards of objectivity, fairness, and professionalism, and we remain committed to delivering straightforward, trusted journalism.”
ABC claims it “does not condone subjective personal attacks on others.”
Moran joined ABC News in 1997 after working at Court TV.
The long-time ABC journalist extensively covered significant events, anchored “World News Tonight” on Sundays, co-anchored “Nightline” from 2005 to 2013, and was ABC’s chief foreign correspondent from 2013 to 2018.
Last month, he interviewed President Trump at the White House.
This comes after ABC News / Disney settled with President Trump for $15 million over news anchor George Stephanopoulos’ comments regarding Trump’s civil sexual-abuse suit with writer E. Jean Carroll.
Rumors also indicate that the ladies at “The View” were also told to stop pushing politics on their show as well.
Disney is likely worried it could pay out millions for settlements again.
