According to the Disney Parks Blog the newest signature, table-service, Japanese restaurant Takumi-Tei opened in Epcot.
Located in the Japan Pavilion of The World Showcase, this new restaurant run by Mitsukoshi offers “…an upscale, immersive, Japanese dining experience offering a premium multicourse tasting menu featuring traditional tea service and wagyu beef, as well as an á la carte menu and more.”
The beautiful new restaurant focuses on tranquility and features five dining rooms. Each one is inspired by five natural elements: wood, water, earth, stone and washi paper.
For the grand-opening Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse joined Melissa Valiquette the Vice President of Epcot, George Gross the Vice President of Operating Participants, Toshihiko Sugie the president and CEO of Isetan Mitsukoshi Holdings Ltd., and Kinichi Kaneko the president of Mitsukoshi USA, for the Grand opening!
