Star Wars: Andor To Release Three Episodes At Launch

Disney has announced that they will be releasing three episodes of the upcoming Rogue One prequel show Andor. The upcoming show will release to Disney+ with 12 episodes releasing weekly.  This is the longest show that Disney+ has done. At the launch three episodes will release instead of just two.

The show will take place between the time of Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope, but before Rogue One.

One of the issues I think Disney has been having with their shows is the episodic presentation. Unlike shows like Stranger Things Disney relies on weekly episodes to extend the show and hold subscribers. But often, this has been causing more confusion or complains with fans. My recordation is wait until a show is completely released before watching it if this is going to cause you issues.

The show will premiere on September 21 with the first three episodes. Hopefully that makes watching better for the fans.
