It’s almost time for Spirit Halloween stores to start popping up around the country ahead of the spooky season. To kick off the season, Spirit Halloween will be having a Grand Opening celebration at its flagship store in Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey, on August 1, 2024.
This celebration will offer guests a first look at the new holiday merchandise, including the famous animatronics.
Here are some highlights and instructions.
- A first look at new merchandise, including the lineup of industry-leading animatronics
- Carnival (or should we say carn-evil) games and giveaways
-The Carnevil officially begins at 9 a.m. with games, prizes, entertainment and refreshments available for purchase from local vendors.
- Treats from Butterfinger, the official candy bar of Spirit Halloween
- Themed photo opportunities
- Highly coveted swag bags for the first 200 super fans to enter the store
-Lanyards and event-exclusive Spirit Halloween swag bags will be given to the first 200 fans starting at 7 a.m. on August 1.
-Line holding for lanyards is not allowed. You must be present to receive a lanyard and swag bag.
More Information
- Parking is available for free in designated areas only.
- The event is free and open to the public.
- The earliest time attendees are welcome to arrive is 7 a.m. on Thursday, August 1, the morning of the event.
-You are not allowed to camp on site or in line. No overnight visitors will be allowed.
- Bathrooms and a hydration station will be available for guests during the event 9AM – Noon.
Store Entry Proceedure
At 9:30 AM an Emcee will begin setting up the line. After the ribbon-cutting ceremony, guests will be allowed to enter in order of lanyard number. Those without a lanyard will be “first-come, first-served” after all lanyard customers have entered.
Official entry begins at 10 AM, and the event will run until 8 PM.
Entry with a lanyard begins at approximately 10 a.m., and the store will be open until 8 p.m.
