Sony Pictures has just released a short, 9-second teaser of the new Spider-Man costume for “Spider-Man: Brand New Day” for Spider-Man Day, which is apparently a thing.
The clip is very short, but it does give a bit of a glimpse into the costume that many were waiting to see. It does seem to harken back to Tobey Maguire’s Spider-Man suit.

Sadly, “Spider-Man: Brand New Day” is still a year away, not hitting theaters until July 31, 2026.
“Brand New Day” will star Tom Holland as Spider-Man. Other actors returning include Zendaya, who plays M.J. Jones-Watson, and Jacob Batalon, who plays Ned Leeds. Jon Bernthal (Punisher) and Sadie Sink (Stranger Things) will also be added to the film.
The new film will be directed by Destin Daniel Cretton (Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings) and is written by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers.
Fans seem pretty happy with the teaser saying,

The suit does look a lot like the Tobey Maguire costume.
