One of Walt Disney World’s oldest attractions is about to get a brand new facelift after five decades. The Country Bear Jamboree has been operating at the Main Kingdom since opening day on October 1st, 1971. The musical animatronic show was based on the Disneyland attraction of the same name (which closed in 2001). However, with the show becoming less popular over time, Disney is seeking to rejuvenate interest with a new theme.

The Country Bear Musical Jamboree will see the colorful cast of characters go from singing their own playlist to covers of various Disney film songs. Each song is sung by a specific set of characters, and each is given a country twist.
Full Song List:
– “Country Bear Musical Jamboree” (Five Bear Rugs)
– “Try Everything” from Zootopia (Trixie with Bunny, Bubbles, and Beulah)
– “Kiss the Girl” from The Little Mermaid (Romeo McGrowl)
– “A Whole New World” from Aladdin (Wendell & Teddi Barra)
– “Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious” from Mary Poppins (Ernest the “Dude”)
– “Fixer Upper” from Frozen (Terrence “Shaker”)
– “Remember Me” from Coco (Big Al)
– “You’ve Got a Friend in Me” from Toy Story (Henry & Sammy)
– “The Bare Necessities” from The Jungle Book (the entire company)
– “Come Again” (Henry & Sammy with Max, Melvin, & Buff)
In addition to the re-theme, the new country-themed covers will be available on multiple music streaming services, such as Spotify, Amazon Music, and Apple Music, the same day the new attraction opens.

This will most likely appeal to those who are fans of the original songs and interested in hearing what they sound like in a different genre of music.
Both the attraction and the songs are set to be unleashed upon the world on July 17th.
Are you excited to hear these classic songs done in a country style? Are there some songs that you wish they had covered? Let us know.
