Social Media Creates the Betty White Challenge To Help Animal Shelters on January 17

Betty White was an amazing woman with a legacy of helping animals. Sadly she passed away on December 31, 2021, just a bit shy of her 100th birthday on January 17th. To honor Ms. White and to help the very animals she loved, a challenge has been trending on social media–The Betty White Challenge.

The goal is to help animal shelter on her 100th birthday by donating $5 to your local animal shelter or rescue organization.

Of course you can donate more or less, but animal shelters and rescue groups can always use the extra money for supplies, vet care, shelter, and other operational expenses.

It’s just a fantastic way to honor Betty White while helping to care for the animals, and I’m sure she would have loved it. Frankly, even if she hadn’t passed away, it would have been an amazing idea.
