Snow White Trailer Is Running Before “Wicked” and The CGI Dwarfs Look Terrible

Disney is running a new “Snow White” trailer before Universal’s “Wicked” film and while the story mostly lines up with what one would expect, minus the rebellion she is somehow leading, what stands out the most is how bad the dwarfs look.

When Disney announced a live-action “Snow White,” many actors with dwarfism thought they might have a shot at a good role in a Disney film. For some reason that may or may not have been amplified by Peter Dinklage, they decided to go the CGI route instead.

While we have seen the images of the dwarfs before, they just look creepy, and the animation feels dated in this live-action film.

It seems like they pushed the film back to hurriedly add them in after there was pushback to the “seven magical creatures” or the diverse villagers.

Here is the tweet with the trailer. I don’t know how long it will be up before it gets pulled.

Even if the film is good, people are so checked out after Rachel Zegler’s negative comments about the original and her constant political hot takes.

It got so bad that she apologized, and frankly, it seemed like she may have been told to do so, especially given the corporate way the apology was read and written, using capital letters, for example.

People are not loving the new film.

It doesn’t seem as bad as I had feared. I wish Disney had done a much better job with the dwarfs, though. They look awful!
