Disney has been pushing their light-up Mickey and Minnie jack-o-lanterns this year. Previously, we had large ones, but now we have medium and small versions, too. The problem is that the price seems incredibly high for a pumpkin that measures around six inches high and wide.
How much are the Mickey and Minnie jack-o-lanterns? $30 before tax!
Comparatively speaking, that is quite high. The large pumpkins were 19.5 inches wide and 15.5 inches long with a price tag of $74.99
Medium-sized Mickey light-up pumpkins were $59.99 and measured 12″ high with a 10.5″ diameter.
In this image, you can see the size comparisons. The size differences are very apparent, and the small pumpkins do not seem to be worth about half the price of the large ones.

While I do think these pieces are cute, the prices are off putting. I can go to Lowes and get two-foot tall Mickey Vampire, Minnie Mouse Fairy or Stitch Pirate blow mold for $49.98 each. They measure larger than the biggest Mickey Mouse or Minnie Mouse light-up pumpkin.

At Walmart you can purchase bigger figures than the small sized pumpkins for under $20!

A Jack Skellington or Oogie Boogie blow mold figure that measures about 13-14 inches tall costs $19.98!
I just don’t think the Disney pumpkins versions are worth the price, especially the smaller ones.
