Disney+ has announced that it will be adding the ‘Simpsons’ short ‘Maggie Simpson in Playdate with Destiny,’ to the streaming platform on April 10th. In this short Maggie “becomes smitten with a boy in the park”
The announcement was posted on the Disney+ Instagram account:
The letter says:
“Greetings Friends! Earlier this year we made a nifty little short film called “Playdate with Destiny.” The response was so gratifying we wanted everyone to see it at home. So here ya go — stream it starting April 10th on Disney Plus” It was signed by Matt Groening and the creative team behind the show.

This short was originally released in theaters with ‘Onward,’ but the limited theatrical run of the film, due to the Coronavirus shut downs, is putting it on the streaming service where ‘Onward’ already ended up.
If you missed it in theaters, or if you are a Simpsons fan and wanted to check it out, you can starting tomorrow.
Another short starring Maggie Simpson, ‘Maggie Simpson in ‘The Longest Daycare,’ will also be added to Disney+ later this month.

It will give Simpsons fans something to look forward to anyways.
