Universal released a teaser trailer for Shrek 5 today. The short teaser plays off the upcoming release of Disney’s live-action Snow White with the Magic Mirror.
Zendaya will play Shrek’s daughter in the new film coming out December 2026.

Here is the teaser.

While it is meant to parody Snow White and probably isn’t from the new film people are torn on it already.
Part of the issue is because they aged up the characters so Zendaya could play the teen daughter, and fans do not like it.
Eyo why does Shrek look so old

Not gonna lie, but what have they done to this film? Doesn’t even look like a Shrek film to be honest the animations look very poorly. Also I feel like that this film might end up getting another delay.

I any1 criying about the fact they adapted the animation after 15 years away from these characters you need to have a deep long think about your attachment issues

It’s not too early to revert to the old art style. This is just The Croods 2.0

I agree. It reminds me of The Croods. Especially Zendaya’s character.
What do you think? Do you like the time jump? Do you like this teaser?
