We’re not even past Halloween yet, but the holiday Disney merchandise is already materializing. Over at shopDisney, we saw that Tiana was decked in fur to be 2024’s Holiday Special Edition Doll.
Tiana’s special edition The Princess and the Frog doll is $49.99. She stands 11.5″ tall and is clad in a faux fur-lined coat. She looks so good that you may never want to take the doll from the snowflake and foil-laden package.

“‘Tis the season for warm wishes and dreams coming true! This special edition Princess Tiana doll sparkles brightly, capturing the glow of our festive fairytale beauty. Tiana’s warmth shines throughout the bayou for this magical season.“
Tiana has the following features and accessories:
- Fully poseable
- Deluxe costume features shimmering fabrics and golden embroidery
- Fluted skirt overlay
- Golden tassels and jeweled trims
- Faux fur-lined coat
- Lace gloves
- Faux pearl necklace
- Finely styled hair
- Window display package with green foil accents
I wonder how many other special edition dolls we’ll see closer to the end of the year. Will Cinderella make an appearance? She would fit in nicely with the New Year’s Eve festivities. Knowing Disney, the company would make that doll evaporate the second the clock struck midnight.
Come to think of it, we haven’t seen too many Pocahontas dolls recently. There’s the Story Doll, but none in the premium line. I wonder why that is.
Those looking for a more traditional Princess-style Tiana should check out the Disney100 doll that premiered in August. That can be picked up in the $40-$50 range.
Other new dolls include a premium limited edition 17″ tall Mirabel. This one comes with an intricately embroidered dress and a hefty price tag of $149.99.
