Star Wars: The Mandalorian fans it appears we have a season 2 rumor to report. The newest speculation is that Rosario Dawson has been cast as Ahsoka Tano for the upcoming season.
Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni have been doing a great job with The Mandalorian, and Dave Filoni co-created Ahsoka with George Lucas, so it’s not really surprising that they would bring her into the series.
The rumor has Dawson portraying the live action version of fan favorite Ahsoka Tano. For those unfamiliar Ahsoka was Anakin Skywalker’s padawan in the Star Wars: The Clone Wars series. She also appeared in Star Wars: Rebels. Since we have the Darksaber in The Mandalorian it would make sense to bring in some characters from Star Wars: Rebels. Maybe we will get Sabine too?
This is still listed at rumor at this point because I don’t believe it’s been confirmed by either Lucasfilm or Dawson.
The Mandalorian Season 2 is scheduled to be coming out this October on Disney+
