Rumor UPDATE: ‘The Mandalorian’ Character Meet and Greets Now Not Coming Soon to Disney Parks

**Update** Several sites are reporting that Disney Parks has corrected the information and say the character experiences are not in the works at this time.

Whether it’s true or not, who knows. This is why I marked it rumor.

There has been no official announcement so I’m calling this a rumor, but there is very good chance that we will be getting The Mandalorian character meet and greets in the near future at Disney Parks according to Lucasfilm’s senior vice president of licensing, Paul Southern.

Recently he has told the site In the Know that guests can expect this soon:

So, the reality is that we feel it’s really important for our guests at the parks to be able to meet all of our key characters on a first-hand, personal basis. And so it’s something we’re working on. We think it’s appropriate, and I think it’s something the guests at the parks can look forward to in the very near future.

With Mando I’m sure we would get some version of The Child (Baby Yoda.) Disney is wasting not time monetizing and merchandising the galactic “tot.”

They’ve done Baby Groot before so I would assume it would be like that. Of course the ideal place for a meet and greet like this is in Batuu at both Disneyland’s Galaxy’s Edge and Walt Disney World’s version.

This one is highly likely and I would expect it to happen in the near future.

But until something is confirmed by Disney Parks we will list it as a rumor.

What do you think? Comment and let us know.
