Rumor: New ‘Star Wars’ Game Possibly Being Developed With Voice Actors From ‘Star Wars: Battlefront 2’

File this under rumor, but it appears that there may be some movement on a new “Star Wars” game using voice actors from “Star Wars: Battlefront 2.”

According to TheDirect.com, the information came from Reddit, so you decide for yourself on the validity:

In a post on the r/StarWarsBattlefront Reddit page, user Potatoslayer2 has discovered that multiple members of the Star Wars Battlefront 2 cast have recently been recording both motion-capture shots and voice recordings, potentially hinting towards a future release for the Star Wars video game franchise.

Janina Gavankar (Iden Versio), Anthony Skordi (Admiral Garrick Versio) and T.J Ramini (Del Meeko) have also posted pictures of these recording sessions within the last month, as well as Ramini and Skordi confirming in December that they were “working together on a yet to be announced project”.

There were some interesting Twitter exchanges around the discussion too, that you can see in their article Here.

I know a lot of people weren’t happy with the way EA handled “Battlefront 2” and the microtransaction fiasco. However Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order did go over much better and repaired some of the good will.

But if a new game is coming from EA Games, I hope they learned from their last debacle with a game like “Battlefront 2” and are better about how it’s handled with a new game.

Of course it’s all rumor and speculation right now.
