Rumor: New Disney Dining Plan Option Coming in a Couple of Days

There have been talk swirling all around the Disney blogospere about a new Disney Dining Plan option coming soon to Walt Disney World.

How soon? WDWNT says it should be available beginning on February 27th.

What is it?

Currently we have the Quick Service Dining Plan, The Disney Dining Plan and the Deluxe Dining Plan. This new plan will be an option available as part of a Disney Resort Hotel package.

Under this new plan guests can use two meals per day in any combination of Table Service, Quick Service or Character Dining. It would also allow the Resort refillable mug and two snacks per night.

They can be redeemed in any order or any combination during their stay.

In comparison here are the other Dining Plan requirements:

Quick-Service Dining Plan:

2 quick service credits

2 snack credits per night

1 refillable mug per stay

Disney Dining Plan:

1 table service credit and 1 quick service credit

2 snack credits per night

1 refillable mug per stay

Deluxe Dining Plan:

3 table service credit

2 snack credits per night

1 refillable mug per stay

Basically this new plan makes it more convenient for how you use your credits and I’m curious to see how that convenience translates to cost.

Currently we do not have any more details on pricing, but guests will be able to start using the new plan beginning on February 28th.

What do you think? Comment and let us know.
