There is a new rumor floating around about the upcoming second season of The Mandalorian, but this one is something most of us expected.
Ming-Na Wen is rumored to be coming back to reprise her role as Fennec Shand, a mercenary and assassin. We only saw her in the first season for part of Chapter 5: The Gunslinger but she was left for dead in the desert of Tatooine.
During the episode a caped figure came upon her and apparently rescued her. Fans have been speculating it could have been Moff Gideon. Other theories of Cad Bane and even the assumed dead Boba Fett have been mentioned.
Hopefully we will get the answer to this mystery soon, but as it stands the word is Shand will be returning for the second season!
Being a fan of Ming-Na Wen as both Mulan and Agent May in Agents of Shield, I was really excited for her to be in The Mandalorian. It would be great to have her back!
The Mandalorian Season 2 will be coming to Disney+ in October 2020. A lot of Star Wars fans have been returning to the franchise due to how much The Mandalorian feels like it fits into the original Star Wars universe, let’s hope Disney can keep it up and not split the fandom further like they did with the sequel trilogy.
