RUMOR: Jim Carrey To Possibly Play MODOK In The MCU?

ATTENTION THE FOLLOWING REPORT IS A RUMOR. PLEASE TAKE THE FOLLOWING STORY WITH A GRAIN OF SALT.

With Bill Murray letting it slip that he’ll be making an appearance in the Marvel Cinematic Universe it appears that another legendary comedian will also be making his way into the world of Marvel.

According to a recent report, actor/comedian Jim Carrey, known for films such as The Mask, Bruce Almighty, Liar Liar and The Truman Show, will be portraying the Marvel Villain MODOK, head of A.I.M. in a number of Marvel Shows and Films.

The first appearances of the character is said to be in Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania followed by the She-Hulk series on Disney Plus.

MODOK’s debut was in Tales of Suspense #93 in 1967. Originally an Engineer working for A.I.M. but was used for experiments by him employers and mutated into M.O.D.O.C. or Mental Organism Designed Only for Computing. After killing his carpets he became the Mental Organism Designed Only for Killing. Taking control of his former employ he became an enemy of Captain America and The Avengers. Due to his superior intelligence he is not only super smart but also has telepathy and telekinesis powers and is a formidable opponent.

If Jim Carrey does appear as this villain who knows how he will play the mutated experiment turned evil genius with a god complex. Hopefully better than The Riddler in Batman Forever.
