Halloween Horror Nights 2023 has not even ended yet. However, rumors have started about the line-up and plans for the 2024 Halloween Horror Nights event in Orlando.

As always, rumors should be taken as what they are… rumors! Still, we have seen and heard large amounts of talk about plans for Halloween Horror Nights (HHN) 2024 in Orlando. We know that the planning team for Halloween Horror Nights works on the following year’s event before the current event is over.
This article will cover rumors that we have heard from multiple sources. Be advised that this does not mean these rumors should be taken as fact. Even if these rumors are 100% percent true, things change for Halloween Horror Nights beyond the control of the Universal team members.
Halloween Horror Nights and Blumhouse

For one to predict that a Blumhouse property will be part of HHN 2024 should surprise no one. A Blumhouse property has been part of the HHN event for several of the most recent years. This year, the examples were “The Exorcist: Believer” and “M3GAN.” Also, a yearly tradition, Blumfest happened again at Universal Orlando Resort which added to the corporate synergy.
Even before the box office success of “Five Nights at Freddy’s,” we had been hearing that a Halloween Horror Nights house in Florida and California featuring his property would happen next year.

Then, a well-connected HHN expert, Christopher Ripley, posted on social media that a “Five Nights House” would be a part of HHN 2024. No matter your connections, this rumor makes a large amount of sense. We would not be overly surprised to hear more rumors about this.
More Monsters for Halloween Horror Nights 2024
Another reasonable prediction for HHN 2024 would be another Universal Classic Monsters house. Could this be the year that HHN fans get a Creature from the Black Lagoon house? HHN fans have desired this house for a few years. Initial talk about planning for HHN 2024 leans towards this Universal Classic Monster starring in a 2024 house.
11 houses in 2024?
During rumor season for HHN 2023, speculation often mentioned that an additional house could happen. This would provide 11 houses for guests to enjoy. Once again, logic dictates that makes a good idea. The crowds at HHN in Orlando became very crowded on some nights this year. Another house would spread out the people celebrating the spooky season.
The question to be pondered is where the number 11 house would go at Universal Studios Florida. The reasonable choice looks like the building that houses the Illumination Villain-Con Minion Blast attraction. This building used to hold the Shrek 4-D attraction. Halloween Horror Nights fans know that a house used to be constructed in one of the theatres of the Shrek 4-D building. Rumors lean towards something like that former pattern happening in 2024.
Other HHN Rumors (that we lack as much confidence in)

- A 2024 Halloween Horror Nights house building on Dr. Oddfellow and adding to the iconic Jack the Clown narrative
- New warehouse-style building being constructed at Universal Studios Florida to replace some of the sprung tents used for HHN in Orlando.
- Some version of a “Stranger Things” house for 2024
- “The Last of Us” being an intellectual property used for a house again in 2024
- The 2024 event starting in August.
Once again, these are rumors. Even though some of these rumors make sense, none can be guaranteed. We will need to wait, as always, for official information from Universal. Still, the talk of future HHN is always fun.
