The latest rumor is that Walt Disney World doesn’t plan on using virtual queues when they reopen. Reportedly cast member are being told this. We already know they won’t be using FastPasses but now the expected Virtual Queue might not be used as well, including Rise of the Resistance at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
This would be good because then people aren’t forced to just choose some attractions and with the reduced crowds and no FastPass+ line it could make wait times much better.
Allegedly Disney feels secure in their ability to control the crowds and maintain social distancing in the large queuing areas.
Of course nothing official has been announced other than the fact that there will not be FastPass+ during this time. It will be interesting to see how this all goes.
