In our experience, the queues for the Epcot festival booths in the France Pavilion grow long as the day goes on. Le Marche de Noel Holiday Kitchen at the Epcot International Festival of the Holidays looks to have good reasons to visit it.

The Le Marché de Noël Holiday Kitchen in the French Pavilion will be open through December 30, 2023, when the Festival of the Holidays ends. Walt Disney World wrote this about the Le Marche de Noel Holiday Kitchen: “Feast on très magnifique fare. Plus, refresh your spirit with specialty cocktails.”
The food options for this year at Le Marche de Noel Holiday Kitchen consist of:
- Crème de Saumon Fumé en Brioche à l’Aneth, Concombre: Cream of smoked salmon in house-made dill brioche bread with cucumber
- Rôti de Jambon Sauce Moutarde à l’Ancienne, Patate Douce Rôties: Roasted ham with mushrooms, pearl onions, bacon, mustard sauce, and roasted sweet potatoes
- Bûche de Noël au Pain D’Épices, Ganache Chocolat au Lait et Noisettes: Gingerbread Christmas log with milk chocolate and hazelnut ganache.
Two of these food items are new this year. Thus, we felt compelled to try them. Both of the new items offered some unique characteristics. Of course, the titles of menu items at the French-themed holiday kitchen are very long. For example, the two new items at the Le Marche de Noel Holiday Kitchen include:
- Crème de Saumon Fumé en Brioche à l’Aneth, Concombre
- Bûche de Noël au Pain D’Épices, Ganache Chocolat au Lait et Noisettes.
Both new food options bring positives and negatives for theme park guests. We will start with the sweet option at Le Marche de Noel Holiday Kitchen.
Festival of the Holidays: Bûche de Noël au Pain D’Épices, Ganache Chocolat au Lait et Noisettes – $6.75

The menu description told us to expect a Gingerbread Christmas log with milk chocolate and hazelnut ganache. On this gingerbread base, guests will enjoy some cute-looking milk chocolate and hazelnut ganache.

We found that the chocolate and ganache are stars in this dessert. However, the gingerbread fails to match that level of quality. This qualifies as an average festival food item, in our opinion.
Crème de Saumon Fumé en Brioche à l’Aneth, Concombre – $8.50

Arguably, the most unique item of the Festival of the Holidays is the Crème de Saumon Fumé en Brioche à l’Aneth, Concombre. This sandwich features green bread. We had never tasted dill brioche bread before. It paired well with the cream of smoked salmon filling with this small sandwich. The filling tasted more like a dip to us than a sandwich filling, though. The cucumber added to the sandwich enhances the overall flavor.
We liked this food item even if the price point is a bit high, at over eight dollars. Also, you will need to get over the green bread in terms of appearance. Despite those potential weaknesses, this makes a unique item worth trying at the Epcot International Festival of the Holidays.
Once again, the Le Marche de Noel Holiday Kitchen brings some interesting food options for Epcot guests. We placed some of our other Festival of the Holidays reviews below to help with your planning. As always, eat like you mean it!
