Our faith in D-Lux Burger has grown recently with the seasonal burger, the Beef Wellington Burger. D-Lux Burger added a Caramel Apple Pie Shake for the holiday. Of course, we went to try it.

D-Lux Burger functions as a fast-casual burger, fries, and shakes style dining option. In the past, we have not been overly impressed. Most of this lack of enthusiasm relates to the plethora of quality dining options at Disney Springs. As mentioned earlier, we were impressed with the Beef Wellington Burger. Recently, we learned that the Beef Wellington Burger and a new limited-time shake would be available through January 9, 2024.
The Caramel Apple Pie Shake – $7.75

The Caramel Apple Pie Shake features vanilla gelato blended with dark caramel sauce, Granny Smith apple syrup, cinnamon syrup, and graham cracker crumbs, topped with whipped cream, caramel, and graham cracker crumbs. To us, that sounds like a lot of flavors in one shake. Will it work? We wanted to find out.
Before we explain our encounter with this holiday season treat, we want to remind guests that all items can be ordered using the mobile ordering system at D-Lux Burger. The mobile order system works reasonably well at this Disney Springs location.
The shake took longer than expected to arrive at our favorite D-Lux Burger seating location based on the time of day I visited. Still, we got our shake not too much later.
How Was It?

Well, it looks fairly plain for a shake here. This one looked simple compared to other shakes we will have over the next few days. However, we read the shake’s description, so we expect more.
We started by drinking through the large white and green straw. This may have been an error. We mainly tasted apple syrup. We mixed the shake some more and tried again. That experience was better but still primarily green apple syrup flavor. The green apple syrup tastes fine, but this is a caramel apple pie shake.

We took the lid off and ate it with a spoon for a different perspective. The whipped cream helps with the overall flavor. However, guests should not expect to be blown away by it. During this portion of trying the milkshake, we noticed the graham cracker crumbs within this. Those make a nice touch but, once again, are nothing fancy.
We continued enjoying the shake. Even if it is not the best shake, it is still a shake after all. The flavors became more balanced, but green apple stood out the most. Despite that, the portion size of the shake for under $8 before tax deserves some praise. However, we received no annual pass discount for the shake on this day. When you visit here, remember to ask since sometimes you get an annual pass discount, and sometimes you do not at D-Lux Burger.

We would have preferred more cinnamon syrup and caramel with this shake. However, this was the first day, so things may change. We define this as an average shake, especially by Disney Springs standards.
As always, eat like you mean it!
