Since Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure opened on October 1, last year it has been using the virtual queue system and now Disney is finally opening up the standby queue lines.
The good news is that this was the last of the virtual queues at the Walt Disney World resort. Virtual queues were great IF you could get a spot.
Starting on Monday, January 10, 2022, guests will be able to use the standby queue instead of the virtual one. Of course you will also have the option of using Lighting Lane and paying more money, because it’s Disney.
Sadly, it’s seemed to many that the Lighting Lane offering has added more headaches for Disney parks guests, especially those not paying more for the service.
So you don’t have to get up early to try and get a virtual queue spot, but you might be waiting in long lines with the Lightning Lane and even longer lines for standby.
