Red Robin’s Prime Rib Stack Burger puts beef on your beef Oct. 19

Red Robin’s new menu arrives Oct. 19 with a Prime Rib Stack Burger, the return of the Bleu Ribbon and Burnin’ Love burgers, new wings, a spinach artichoke dip and five Refreshers.

Red Robin looked at a burger and decided it needed more beef. On top.

The chain is adding a Prime Rib Stack Burger starting Monday, Oct. 19, Sporked reported. It’s a hand-pressed beef patty topped with sliced prime rib.

That’s only part of the change. Red Robin is also bringing back two fan-favorite burgers and adding new appetizers, wings and drinks at participating locations nationwide, according to Sporked.

The Prime Rib Stack is a limited-time item, so don’t plan on it sticking around forever.

What’s on Red Robin’s Prime Rib Stack Burger?

A hand-pressed beef patty, sliced prime rib, Monterey Jack cheese, caramelized onions and garlic aioli. It all comes on a black-and-white sesame seed brioche bun, Sporked said.

It comes with a bottomless side, like most Red Robin burgers.

Sporked’s writer guessed it’s the kind of burger that needs two hands and a stack of napkins. That sounds right.

Which Red Robin burgers are coming back?

Two old favorites, according to Sporked:

  • The Bleu Ribbon Burger, with bleu cheese crumbles, crispy onion straws, lettuce, tomato, HEINZ 57 Sauce and green chili aioli

  • The Burnin’ Love Burger, with fried jalapeno coins, salsa, pepper jack cheese, lettuce, tomato and green chili aioli

Both are joining Red Robin’s Big YUMMM Deals menu.

When was the Burnin’ Love Burger on the menu before?

It’s had a few lives. The Burnin’ Love first showed up as a limited-time seasonal burger in 2009, Tasting Table reported. Red Robin brought it back “by popular demand” in October 2023, according to the chain’s announcement at the time.

By 2025, it had been discontinued again, and fans weren’t happy about it, Tasting Table said. One fan called it their “FAVORITE BURGER OF ALL TIME” in a 2023 Reddit post.

Now it’s back, at least for the moment. Fans who’ve been ordering the Scorpion burger with a dozen changes to recreate it can stop.

How much are Red Robin’s Big YUMMM Deals?

Meals start at $9.99, Sporked reported. They include an entree, a bottomless side and a bottomless drink when you dine in.

That’s a solid price for a sit-down burger these days, especially with refills on the fries.

What else is new on Red Robin’s menu?

A lot, according to Sporked:

  • A Spinach Artichoke Dip with warm tortilla chips

  • Lemon Pepper wings

  • Lemon Pepper Buzz wings, which add Red Robin’s Buffalo-style sauce

  • A Signature Grilled Chicken and Broccoli entree, with ancho marinade, Whiskey River BBQ sauce, teriyaki or blackened seasoning

The grilled chicken is the pick for anyone at the table trying to be sensible while everyone else orders beef on beef.

What are Red Robin’s new Refreshers?

Five bottomless flavors, Sporked said:

  • Tropical Dragon Fruit

  • Mango Passion Lemonade

  • Sunset Lemonade

  • Poppin’ Purple Lemonade

  • Raspberry Limeade

You can add Red Bull to any of them if lunch needs to become an energy event.

When does Red Robin’s new menu start?

Monday, Oct. 19, at participating Red Robin locations nationwide. Prices and availability can vary by location, according to Sporked.

Is Red Robin’s Prime Rib Stack Burger worth trying?

If you like prime rib and burgers, it’s both at once. The caramelized onions and garlic aioli should keep it from tasting like two separate meals stacked together.

Just know the Prime Rib Stack is limited, while the returning Bleu Ribbon and Burnin’ Love sit on the value menu.

How long has Red Robin been around?

Since 1969. The chain was founded that year and now runs under the name Red Robin Gourmet Burgers and Brews, according to its 2023 announcement.

In that 2023 menu refresh, Red Robin switched to flattop grills to sear its patties, chasing what its chef called a “truly crave worthy” burger. The Prime Rib Stack builds on that gourmet push.

Why are restaurants pushing big burgers right now?

Casual dining chains have been fighting for customers with value deals and big, splashy menu items. Red Robin is trying both at once: a $9.99 deal menu for budget eaters and a beef-on-beef burger for the people who want a splurge.

Bring napkins. Lots of napkins.
