Universal Orlando has been bringing more and more treats to satisfy anyone’s sweet tooth. The expansion of the “Tribute Stores” with their treat room has caused more than a few dollars to fly out of my pocket. This year, Universal Orlando has expanded these same treats into more places in the parks. My friend, Xavier Hamilton at Universal Food Blog, voices often how challenging it is to keep track of the seasonal treats. Yes, this is a first world blogger problem. However, I would like you to find the best treats during your time at Universal Orlando Resort. I do not believe the myth that vacation calories do not count so I want you to enjoy these sweet calories.

There are exclusive seasonal treats only offered during Halloween Horror Nights events. I would like to introduce you to one today. My spouse told me she wanted this treat specifically. It was the Pumpkin Cream Cheese Crème Brûlée found at Today Café. I was a man on a mission. My mission was productive. For my order, I got it to go to take back to hotel room.

This item like many similar items at Universal Orlando starts to lose cohesion outside of the chiller. I took this item and placed it in the room refrigerator quickly to avoid this problem. I was not there to witness the consumption of this treat. However, it was described to me.

My spouse is a huge fan of almost anything pumpkin. She is #TeamPumpkinSpice and loves the Today Café. This was bound to be a hit. It was just that.

This treats costs $5.49 before any discounts. I know Crème Brulee is in the title, but a standard disappointment is no real taste of that. Also, as mentioned, the items will “melt” from its original form in the heat. You are in Florida so be prepared. This treat might be best enjoyed within the air-conditioning of Today Café. That was not an option in my case since spouse was hiding out at the resort hotel in preparation for HHN RIP tour.

Now, several reliable sources, including my spouse, have defined this item as enjoyable.
The outer gelatin like coating that holds the creation together can be seen as slimy. This was not seen as taking away from the overall flavor escapade. The coating surrounds the mousse-like center flavored with pumpkin spice. Some reports compare this center portion as tasting more like pumpkin pie. Overall, this treat is a triumph. The Today café is great place for your sweet tooth. This is no exception.
