With the exciting announcement of Universal Orlando’s third theme park Epic Universe yesterday, it will not be surprising if we start to see some of the rides being tested soon.
While Super Nintendo World hasn’t been officially announced as being part of Epic Universe yet, it’s clear from the concept art that it probably is.
One of the attractions that is rumored to be coming is a roller coaster based off Donkey Kong Country’s mine cart levels.
Now Twitter user @bioreconstruct (give him a follow) has retweeted a short video of what appears to be the testing of a mine cart style roller coaster. It says that it’s being tested in an American factory. Could this be the Donkey Kong Country ride?
Un étonnant coaster ressemblant aux brevets déposés par Universal pour la probable future attraction Donkey Kong à Universal's Epic Universe est en test dans une usine américaine. 👀

It certainly looks like it could be, especially if you compare the coaster being tested to the “boom coaster” patent that was filed in 2017.
On a side note, I just love how the horse is hanging out there while the coaster is going in the background.
We’re really excited about Nintendo coming to Universal Orlando, and will keep you posted as more official news comes our way!
