Possible ‘She-Hulk’ Disney+ Release Date Leaked

It seems that we might have a possible release date for the new ‘She-Hulk’ show coming to Disney+. Apparently the Disney UK Blog released the date in a list of Marvel shows that are out or are coming to the platform.

The date listed is August 17. The show has been rumored to have various release dates during production, with the most recent rumors indicating it could be pushed back to 2023.  The show, like most of the Marvel content had been delayed by the COVID-19 pandemic, but most of it was back on track.

It appeared that the show could be delayed due to reshoots that took place in February and rumored VFX issues. The earliest people expected the show was this fall and it would be after Ms. Marvel no matter what. Late August would still put it in summer and not fall as many anticipated.

Given that the blog is an official one, that date seems likely to be true.

It also gives this synopsis of the upcoming show:

Tatiana Maslany will play Jennifer, who is a lawyer specialising in superhuman-oriented legal cases. Mark Ruffalo is back as the Hulk alongside Tim Roth, who plays the Abomination.

Tatiana Maslany will be playing She-Hulk/Jennifer Walters, while Mark Ruffalo will be the Hulk. The series will be directed by Kat Coiro and Anu Valia. Jessica Gao is the head writer on the series.
