A new way to have fun at Disney is coming to the Downtown Disney District in Southern California. A Halloween themed scavenger hunt called Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit.
From September 9th to October 31st (or while supplies last), you can participate in Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit. It’s a scavenger hunt in which you walk around the Downtown Disney District locating specially decorated pumpkins.
The event is akin to the Downtown Disney District’s Eggstravaganza, in which you find specially decorated eggs during Easter. This event has been a favorite for years!
To participate in Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit, players will need to purchase a game board and stickers from World of Disney, Disney’s Pin Traders, Disney Home, The Disney Dress Shop, or WonderGround Gallery.
While walking around, be on the lookout for decorative pumpkins! Once you locate a pumpkin, place the appropriate sticker in the correct location on your game board. After finding them all (or not), you can return the game board to World of Disney or Disney’s Pin Traders to receive a spooktacular surprise!
Grab your people and head down to Anaheim for some lunch, shopping, and pumpkin hunting! This is a great way to have a fun Disney day, even if you’re not entering the parks.
