Pixar to Partner with the Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh for New “Inside Out” Interactive Exhibit

The Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh has announced on their Facebook page that they will be partnering with Pixar to create the Emotions at Play with Pixar’s Inside Out interactive exhibit.

This will be the first interactive exhibit based on the film.

“You’ll navigate interactive experiences that help you recognize, understand and balance emotions like Joy, Sadness, Anger, Disgust and Fear. Learn about the important role emotions and memory play in our lives through experiences set in the locations of central character 11-year old Riley’s Mind World, including Headquarters, Long Term Memory, Imagination Land and Dream Production.”

It is expected to open in September 2020.

It is interesting to me is that we aren’t hearing about what will happen to Journey Into Imagination with all the D23 announcements, but there were rumors about it becoming an Inside Out attraction. Frankly, Inside Out isn’t that popular now, I have to wonder if it’s an effort to raise popularity to bring it into the parks?  No announcements or anything have me saying this. It’s just me pondering out loud.

Either way there is going to be an Inside Out “attraction” in Pittsburgh and that is very cool. If you haven’t been to the Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh you really should check it out. It’s an amazing place!
