Disney has been pushing for live-action remakes of its films for a few years now, and recently, they’ve had mixed results. Enter “Snow White.” Somehow, Disney has managed to unite people in hating these films. People agree that this film has been a disaster, and now someone has even made a song about it.
Why write a song about “Snow White?”
Chat Music on YouTube has turned some of the hilarious comments to the Snow White trailer into a song. It’s funny.
The majority of people do not seem to want this film. It seemed that the longer the production went on the more of a disaster it became.
Why do people hate “Snow White?”
Since the film started production, it has been plagued with bad press, poor choices, and even a fire. Yes, God even tried to stop them, and Disney still thought they should keep going.
It started with the hot take from Peter Dinklage, who insisted the dwarfs lived in the caves. It was a bad look for actors with dwarfism. This led to Disney announcing they were not going to use the seven dwarfs but seven “magical creatures” instead. Many other actors with dwarfism were upset that Dinklage cost them an acting gig.
Then, there was the early reception of her dress, which many thought could have been better if cosplayers had made it.

The Snow White actress has seemingly made it her mission to tank this film, from announcing that they changed how Snow White got her name to revealing that the character is a girl boss who doesn’t need a man because the original story was “weird” and the prince was a “stalker.” She also said it was her mom’s favorite but admitted to watching it only once.
But her most recent oops may have been the final straw for many.
After the election, she took to social media, where she had a meltdown and then wished Trump voters “never know peace.”

She did apologize afterward, but it was clearly mandated. Her statement was written in a completely different style than her previous posts, indicating she was given it to read.
But the CGI Dwarfs really cinched this film’s fate.
The film was already very expensive, and then we threw in the CGI Seven Dwarfs, and now it’s walking the line between being a cute cut scene from a 20-year-old video game and a horror film from the same era.
This film is DOA. The budget is already at least $240 million and could be much higher at almost $270 million. That was before the marketing, distribution, and movie theater cuts.
Time will tell if the movie can profit or just break even. Many might go out of morbid curiosity about how messed up it is. But I think most will just wait for Disney+ or spare themselves entirely.
