Parts of the Ceiling Collapses At Soarin’ Around The World

Guests visiting Soarin’ Around the World at EPCOT got a bit of a surprise when part of the ceiling collapsed into one of the queue areas.

A video from unapologeticallymemissy on TikTok shows the Cast Member and guest reaction after part of the ceiling fell and “nearly hit several guests and CMs.”

The video starts out with two Cast Members. One is clearly shocked, and the other is taking photos and then going to the phone to call someone.

A large object hangs down from the ceiling, and there are boards scattered around the area.

Hopefully, no one was hurt. Given that the write-up said “nearly hit,” I assume no one was. It could have been so much worse.

This video was posted yesterday and I believe it has been fixed.

Soarin’ Around the World is an attraction inside The Land pavilion at Walt Disney World.

The attraction takes guests up into a 180-degree, 80-foot IMAX theater. It’s an immersive show with aerial imagery, wind, and scents.
