The K-drama star gave birth to a baby girl on Tuesday, Sept. 22, in Korea, her agency, SALT Entertainment, announced. The baby is the second child for Park and her husband, actor Choi Tae-joon.

SALT Entertainment shared the news in a short statement, as translated by Soompi.

“Park Shin Hye gave birth to a healthy daughter today,” the agency said. “Both the mother and the baby are currently healthy.”

The agency added that Park is resting and recovering “amid the love and care of her family.”

When did Park Shin-hye announce her second pregnancy?

Back in April. SALT Entertainment confirmed the pregnancy on April 14, 2026, and said she was due in the fall, Soompi reported.

At the time, the agency didn’t share whether the baby was a boy or a girl. It only asked fans for their “warm blessings.”

Fans think so. Park shared updates on social media during her pregnancy. One post in August included a pink ribbon, and Korean outlet Starnews read that as a hint she was having a girl.
