Park Hopping Coming Back to Walt Disney World In January, 2021

Finally some really good parks news!  Park Hopping is coming back to Walt Disney World on January 1, 2021! If you purchased a Park Hopper on your tickets, or you’re an annual passholder, you will be able to visit more than one park per day, with some modification.

Here’s what Disney said:

“With the updated Park Hopper experience, guests must make a Disney Park Pass reservation for the first park they plan to visit AND enter that first park prior to visiting another. At this time, a park reservation is not required after the first park, however, reservation requirements are subject to change.

Additionally, we will set specific Park Hopper hours during which this option will be available. Park Hopper hours will start at 2 p.m. each day and end at the park’s scheduled close time. Guests will soon be able to check DisneyWorld.com/ParkHours and the My Disney Experience app for the most up-to-date Park Hopper hours, as they could start earlier at a later date, depending on the day and park.”

It stinks that you can’t do it until 2PM, but it’s great that we can do it again in general!

Disney is doing this to make sure they manage the capacity caps and not overload areas. They keep saying about physical distancing, but people really aren’t following the rules like they should anyways.

This is much needed good news for Disney Parks Fans! Especially those with Annual Passes, it was part of the perk of having one!
