Procter & Gamble’s Old Spice is teaming up with Nintendo and Illumination for a limited-edition lineup inspired by the upcoming film ‘The Super Mario Galaxy Movie’.
Announced in February, the collaboration introduces the Old Spice and The Super Mario Galaxy Movie Collection.
This is a themed assortment of personal care products designed to bring Mario and friends into your shower. (Take that as you will.)
Kate DiCarlo, Senior Communications Director at P&G offered this comment on the collaboration,
“We aren’t just introducing a line of products; we’re giving fans the ability to smell like a hero. This collection combines the nostalgic joy of the Super Mario Galaxy game with the high-performance freshness men expect from Old Spice.”
Now the products are starting to appear in stores and on Amazon!
The limited-edition lineup features five unique scents, each inspired by environments associated with the cosmic theme of the new Mario film.
The fragrances include:
Cosmic Quest – a clean scent with watery notes, citrus, wood, and musk.
Desert Detour – a bourbon-inspired fragrance with black cherry, orange peel, oak, and vanilla notes.
Castle Crush – citrus and tropical fruit notes balanced with warm coconut, amber, and vanilla.
Space Mischief – a fresh marine fragrance with citrus and melon accents.
Brooklyn Bounce – a fruit-forward scent with citrus, floral tones, and a creamy musk base.
The themed fragrances will be available across several Old Spice product formats designed to cover a full grooming routine.
Products in the collection include:
Aluminum-free deodorant sticks
2-in-1 shampoo and conditioner
Hand, face, and body lotion for men
The Old Spice and The Super Mario Galaxy Movie Collection is available at major retailers across the United States while supplies last. Suggested retail pricing begins at $7.97, though individual retailers determine final prices.
