Nomad Lounge (and Tiffins) at Animal Kingdom Make Interesting Menu Changes

Walt Disney World announced that Nomad Lounge and Tiffins Restaurant fans should expect a few changes to those menus. Based on the popularity of menu items, these changes qualify as interesting.

Nomad Lounge and Tiffins Restaurant are located near each other at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Both are considered excellent dining options for guests to enjoy. Some of the items at these restaurants have menu items with a strong fan following.

However, some menu changes have been announced by Walt Disney World to these restaurants. We had been hearing for a few weeks that changes were coming to these two restaurants. Then, this past weekend, guests visiting Nomad Lounge were told that some menu items would change.

Starting today, two food items no longer appear on the Nomad Lounge menu. They are:

• Impossible Sliders
• Chicken Manchurian Nomad Bowl.

Also, the pork belly item has changed from a barbecue sauce to a pineapple version. It will be interesting to see how this goes over with frequent visitors to this popular lounge.

As expected, guests voiced dislike about the changes that happened as of November 13, 2023. Disney Eats revealed the following menu updates:

Tiffins Restaurant at Disney’s Animal Kingdom

Champurrado Chocolate Bar will be available for guests to try at this table-service restaurant. We will have to wait and see to find out if this new dessert measures up to the level of Tiffins Restaurant, the nicest restaurant at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. In addition, a White Chocolate Orange Crème Brûlée will be an option for dessert.

This restaurant will also add a new entrée we did not expect to see at this high-end table service dining option. Shrimp and Grits have become part of the everyday menu. We recall seeing a version of these on previous Tiffins menus, however. Also, a delectable sounding Cardamom Spiced Veal appears on the menu now at Tiffins Restaurant.

Grilled Chicken Satay at Nomad Lounge

Though some new menu items will be available at both Tiffins and Nomad Lounge, only one new item, Grilled Chicken Satay, will be added to the menu at this lounge. We look forward to giving the Grilled Chicken Satay a shot during our next visit to Nomad Lounge.

New Menu Items Available at Nomad Lounge and Tiffins Restaurant

Two new menu items started being sold at both dining options. They are:

• Korean Barbecue Oyster Mushroom Bao Bun
• Pineapple Glazed Pork Belly.

Visitors to Nomad Lounge should be aware that you can often order off the Tiffins menu. This varies regarding procedure. Check with your server or bartender if you are interested in a menu item at Tiffins while dining at Nomad Lounge.
